Beth Westbrook

Sr. Director of Strategic Partnerships

After nearly 20 years working in the oncology field, Beth joined the Vasculitis Foundation as the Director of Development in the summer of 2018. She is a passionate patient advocate and dedicated fundraiser. Over the years, she has testified before Congress and worked on black tie galas widely attended by Members of Congress, Ambassadors, healthcare influencers and successful business people.

Beth also serves on two advisory committees for the American Academy of Pediatrics, the Family and Youth Partnership plus the Section on Palliative and Hospice Care. In her free time, you’ll find Beth sewing, reading or attempting to exercise (success on the treadmill is a journey, not a destination).

What most people don’t know is Beth worked for three years in Major League Baseball for the Pittsburgh Pirates at their spring training facility. Beth believes everyone should play a role in making life better for others. On her desk is a quote from Roberto Clemente, “Any time you have an opportunity to make a difference in this world and you don’t, then you are wasting your time on Earth.”
