Sue’s Story

My name is Sue. I believed that my vasculitis was virally induced. The first months back at work were rocky, as the prednisone, blood pressure medicine and minor brain damage left me slightly dysfunctional. I continued to work until my retirement in 2008 at 65+, with my health slowly returning. I now garden and attend tai chi classes two times a week. My rheumatologist calls me her “miracle patient.” My only real health complaint now is cystitis, no doubt caused by oral Cytoxan.
