Meet the Host of Vasculitis Voices

Heather Moya, Host
Heather is a Vasculitis patient and social justice advocate. Heather is an active community member and sits on the Board of Directors for the Human Trafficking Coalition of the Palm Beaches. Heather’s passion for equity knows no limits. In January 2020, she provided the framework for a bill sponsored by State Representative Joe Casello that later made its way into the Florida Statehouse titled HB1331 “Conviction history of an applicant for employment,” which aimed to “ban the box” and eliminate bias for formerly incarcerated individuals seeking employment.
Heather continues her advocacy by working with the United Nations and the American Red Cross.
