The Vasculitis Foundation and the Vasculitis Clinical Research Consortium are proud to present a new research network for clinical research in vasculitis.
Research is the key to improving diagnosis, finding better treatments, and increasing disease understanding. There are a variety of barriers to conducting clinical vasculitis research. The Vasculitis Patient-Powered Research Network (VPPRN) has an innovative blueprint for conducting vasculitis research that addresses some of those key barriers. During our Road Map to Wellness webinar, we explored how the VPPRN is innovating clinical vasculitis research.
The goal of the VPPRN research program is to conduct high quality studies that will improve the care and the health of patients with vasculitis, by exploring research questions that matter most to patients, and by advancing medical knowledge about vasculitis.
The VPPRN is a patient-powered research network. The philosophy is simple: Conduct high quality research for patients, with patients. Learn more about what it means to be a patient-powered research network in this webinar.
