Kalen Young has served the VPPRN since 2014, first as the Network Manager and now as Director of Research Affairs. She strongly believes in the mission and capabilities of the VPPRN and affirms the idea that research about disease prevention and treatment needs to be relevant to patients to achieve maximum benefit. She has employed her professional knowledge to help develop Network-wide policies and procedures and has maintained direct oversight of all day-to-day project activities. Kalen also serves as a liaison between the VPPRN and the Vasculitis Clinical Research Consortium as well as the VF Research Committee.
