My name is David. To me, living with vasculitis means going to bed each night and wondering…“Was today my last day of being in remission?” Sadly, the disease changed my mindset on life. Though I have been extremely lucky with maintaining long remissions, I constantly feel like my luck will run out. I’m blessed with a loving family and supportive friends who I know will be there should I need them. Without knowledge of what triggers a relapse or less toxic methods of treatment, fear of losing my health is more of a concern than I ever thought it would be for me.
