As 2022 approaches, we’re strategically investing in the programs and initiatives that will help the patients we have now, as well as the patients yet to come.
With your support, we can train more vasculitis fellows, which will provide patients greater access to physicians, better treatments and easier participation in clinical trials. Our Vasculitis Patient-Powered Research Network (VPPRN) will conduct more research and build greater understanding of the disease. And for those struggling to find a doctor well versed in vasculitis, we are working toward the goal of every patient having a vasculitis expert within 50 miles of their home.
Please join us in reaching our goals. With your support, we can impact our vasculitis community in a lasting way. A gift today will help us in building outcomes and using our resources towards new discoveries.

“I’m a biomedical researcher and a patient partner on the VPPRN’s EGPA Research Registry. The VPPRN is built on the premise that patients are partners and true equals, collaborating together with clinician researchers to support the research network. We provide the patient’s voice and perspective to research studies, which answer questions that are important to clinicians, and that are important to vasculitis patients and their families.”

“The VCRC-VF Fellowship was instrumental in helping me achieve my goals of establishing a center of excellence for the care of patients with vasculitis at Vanderbilt. We have organized an outstanding multidisciplinary group of providers who are interested in and have expertise in the management of patients with systemic vasculitis. Earlier this year we welcomed Dr. Jason Springer, as co-director of our vasculitis center here in Nashville, Tennessee.”
