Symposium 2013: Sessions to address issues for specific forms of vasculitis

The Vasculitis Foundation will host its 2013 Vasculitis Symposium July 12-14 at the Loews Hotel in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. The symposium will feature many of the top vasculitis experts in the world and is designed for patients, their families and caregivers.

On Friday, July 12th, attendees will divide into sessions to focus on their specific form of vasculitis. The two-hour session will include PPT presentations by leading experts and will include plenty of time for Q&A. These sessions will focus on symptoms, side effects and concerns facing patients. The current list of breakout sessions include Behcet’s, Churg Strauss syndrome, Giant cell arteritis/Takayasu’s arteritis, GPA (Wegener’s), Cryoglobulinemia/PAN and CNS. There will be a special session for pediatric patients and their parents. Additional sessions will be added as attendees register for the symposium.

The individual sessions will continue on Saturday with an extended “Lunch with the Doctors” to allow attendees to follow-up with questions from the morning sessions.
