Star Wars Fans Launch Awareness Campaign during C2E2

During the recent Chicago Comic and Entertainment Expo (C2E2) at the McCormick Place in Chicago, all of the Star Wars’ groups – the 501st (Stormtroopers/bad guys), the Rebel Legion (X-Wing pilots/good guys), The Jedi Assembly,  and Sandtroopers.com (toys and collectibles) distributed information on vasculitis and collected over $700 in donations in support of the Vasculitis Foundation.

Chris wrote, We really have to mention Carol “Jedimom” Gilbert for being our inspiration behind this effort.  Her husband, Mark, has vasculitis so we know first hand how difficult it can be.  We also would have to thank our sponsors and affiliates for the donation of the prizes, we couldn’t get it done without them.”
