Research

The Vasculitis Foundation Research Program was established in 2001 and funds novel studies to understand the cause(s) of vasculitis, investigate more effective treatments and work towards a cure for all the vasculitic diseases. To date the VF has funded over $800,000 in vasculitis research.

The program provides one or two year seed grants to support pilot studies in researching the:
•    etiology
•    epidemiology
•    diagnosis
•    treatment, including approaches that would prevent complications, and development of coping skills for living with this disease
