Our group, which meets quarterly in Columbus, Ohio, is very diverse in age and “stages” of the vasculitis diseases. We are very fortunate of have a doctor within our group. Not only is he a physician and works on the staff of the Vasculitis Foundation, he is also a Wegener’s patient. The information he brings to us is invaluable.
For speakers,we have had pharmacy technicians and a nephrologist from The Ohio State University. The nephrologist is my personal physician in the treatment of Wegener’s, and the pharmacy technicians did the class session as a project assignment.
