Programs

Improving the lives of patients living with vasculitis is the core of the Vasculitis Foundation’s mission and the basis of the VF’s three program areas of Awareness, Support and Research. The programs promote understanding of vasculitis, the importance of early diagnosis and effective treatment and the critical need for research to discover a cure for the disease.

Vasculitis Foundation Core Programs

Awareness Program

Vasculitis represents a family of rare diseases that can affect people of all ages. Raising awareness and understanding of vasculitis is one of the most important activities a VF supporter can participate in.  
Support Program Although the diseases share many of the same symptoms and treatment courses, each is different. These programs help patients learn as much as possible about their individual disease.
Research Program

The Vasculitis Foundation Research Program was established in 2001 and funds novel studies to understand the cause(s) of vasculitis, investigate more effective treatments and work towards a cure for all the vasculitic diseases.
