December of 2001 to May of 2002 I was in and out of hospital. One time the docs said “you are a medical mystery”. I will not go into details now but it was a very difficult period of my wife Judy and me. The final diagnosis was Central Nervous System Vasculitis. At that time there was not much information to be found. What was available was not very promising or informative. We went to the symposium in Baltimore in 2006. The Vasculitis Foundation just opened up to all the other Vasculitis. The different speakers, the ability to talk to the doctors and ask questions and the interaction with other patients and caregivers was very helpful in understanding what we were into and some good ideas on what to do. I feel that the symposium was very helpful. I look forward to the meeting this June 2008 Published on Monday, April 7, 2008
