Medications

Vasculitis patients use a wide variety of medications for treatment. Some of the most common ones include Cyclophosphamide, prednisone, Bactrim, Cell Cept, Imuran, Methotrexate.

The National Institutes of Health (NIH) and the U.S. National Library of Science created Medline Plus, an excellent resource for information on medications, including precautions, possible side effects, special instructions and storage guidelines.

Each vasculitis patient has their own drug regiment prescribed for their disease treatment. Please consult your medical physician with questions regarding your medications.
