Vasculitis Awareness Week begins today!!! This is the week we come together to harness the creative energy of the thousands of people around the world with vasculitis and all the people who care about them by spreading the word that vasculitis is an important public health concern. During this week, let’s make the Vasculitis Foundation come alive by showing our passion for educating others about this disease. A record number of volunteers are participating by distributing VF brochures, contacting local media, participating in health fairs, adding the VF tagline to emails, speaking at local civic events, planning fundraisers, sending emails and/or letters to friends, adding information on Facebook, etc. Please join in and get involved in raising awareness by whatever means you can. No effort is too small. We all have been touched by this disease, and we know the importance of educating others and getting them involved in our goal of finding a cure for vasculitis. Together, we will make a difference. Your efforts now and in the future will positively impact the lives of those living with vasculitis.
